Since 1975, Rushford has helped thousands of families recover from the devastating effects of addiction. We developed Rushford at Stonegate to specifically help teens and their families who are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.
Located alongside the Connecticut River in Middletown, Conn., Rushford's 42-bed residential treatment center offers flexible stay, gender-specific residential programs in a private setting that incorporate individual counseling, group therapy, family involvement and regular in-house and off-premises 12-step meetings.
Rushford operates a 16-bed, medically monitored unit for detoxification, evaluation and monitoring.
Our Intermediate Treatment Program (halfway house) is a residential program that provides full clinical and therapeutic support for clients who are “in transition,” seeking to return to the workforce or already employed.
Rushford's Partial Hospital Program provides more intensive treatment than traditionally outpatient programs and can serve as an alternative to inpatient care. The PHP offers structured outpatient programs that offer group therapy and drug education groups as well as an introduction to a 12-step program.
